Al and I began walking Baker Park in the summer of 2022. We walked from the red covered bridge to the retaining pond and back. Toward the end of summer, we added the next segment .... across Bentz street to Court Street. Early mornings were the best -- in the summer, 7AM started getting hot! We loved seeing the herons, ducks and geese. We kept an eye out for one goose in particular because he had a broken wing. We worried he wouldn't make it through the winter and were always happy to see when a goose or two had joined him, as he was no longer able to fly to other parts of the park with them.
